District 7890 Simplified Grant Regulations

1. The project must actively involve Rotarians and their Rotary Club.

2. The project must serve a new group of recipients, original, Rotary sponsored project, not just a contribution to an on-going project or a project sponsored by others. Projects already completed by July 1st are not eligible.

3. Grants up to $1,000 can be awarded; however, amounts will depend upon funds available (applications are considered in the order they were received).

4. Projects will be funded under the following criteria: District 7890 will match club funds up to $500.00 dollar for dollar. Club amounts over $500.00 will be matched on a reduced formula

5. Matching funds by the club are considered when evaluating the grant application.

6. Grant applications will be evaluated in the order received and awarded as approved by the committee. Once funds are exhausted any applications pending or received will be returned.

7. Once the award is approved the final report is due upon completion of the project or within 12 months of the project's approval.

8. Applications and report forms can be found on the District web-site www.rotarydistrict7890.org or by contacting the District Grants Committee chairman.

9. If, for any reason, an approved project fails to be completed or materialize, the grants committee shall be notified as soon as possible and the grant will be cancelled. No funds will be awarded. If another project is considered in its place, a new application will need to be submitted to the committee.

10. A Club can only have one grant in process at any one time. As soon a project is completed with a final report approved by the committee then another grant application can be submitted.
