I want to dedicate this program to my
parents who recently passed away. They taught me to give back to those
in need and take care of the people most in need especially the
elderly and the children. They were a tremendous part of my life and
owe them my work ethic and my passion for helping others. I had the
honor to give my father a Paul Harris Fellowship in 2001. That taught
me that family is very important so I need to mention that I have two
brothers Richard and Gary and two sisters Jackie and Candy.
My emphasis for my year as Governor
will be: what can the District can do to help you.
I want to thank all the Past District
Governors for their help, guidance and support. Without them I would
not have been able to take on this task. I want to thank my trainer
PDG Raymond Chelte. PDG Dick Borden my mentor and my treasurer Ray
Evans all of them have made this job easier.
I want to congratulate the presidents
of our 63 clubs. Your job is the most important one in Rotary. You are
one of over 30,000 leading over 1.2 million Rotarians. It is with your
leadership, dedication and passion that will lead District 7890. I
look forward to working with you all.
Have a great year |
