Mike Roy selected as Governor-nominee designate

On October 6, 2011, at the annual meeting of the District Nominating Committee, Michael Roy, Past President of the Rotary Club of Northampton, MA and GSE Team Leader to Japan in 2009-2010, was chosen to serve our district as Governor 2014-2015.  At the conclusion of the official challenge period, Governor Sue notified all club presidents there had been no challenge. Mike's selection will be part of the Nominating Committee's report to the delegates at the District Conference in May 2012. Thanks to Past District Governor Dick Borden, advisor to the committee, who provided guidance to the committee for several months this year, and to Past President Pat Kennedy of the Rotary Club of South Windsor, CT, who chairs this year's committee, and all the delegates who served this year for their service to the district.
