The Rotary eClub of District 7890 received a District Simplified Grant to help establish a Children's Garden at the Abrahams Park in Trumbull, Connecticut. The Little Green Thumb Ambassador-GARDEN TOGETHER program is designed to teach four to six year old children along with their parent(s) the joy and reward of gardening together by participating in a community garden.

Pictured here are eClubbers Kristin Kalar, Conrad Sienkiewicz, Janie Carlisle, and Jeff Tager.

The Connecticut members of the Club cleared rocks, installed fencing and planted decorative flowering plants, objets d'arts and "mulching" for the Garden. Later that day several of the children enrolled in the program came and planted seeds for vegetables and flowers that they will take care of throughout the season.
